Shadow’s world fell apart when his family could no longer care for him, he moved to one of our lifeline foster homes with view to adopt & things went exceptionally well!
He was nervous of the veterinary environment and spent months visiting the team at Edgewood Vets for play sessions and social time, eventually overcoming his fears. Once he was emotionally able to cope with his neutering he sailed through the op, making him ready for adoption.
His foster carers, who are now officially his adopters are continuing their work with our training team, teaching Shadow how to walk on a lead without panicking. He is also learning to feel less need to be vocal when he’s asking questions, he’s a quick learner! Shadow has started off lead work in his post- adoption classes, we couldn’t be more proud.
