Jimmy the Collie pup came to us at 5 months old having had no exposure to the outside world, he had been living in a bungalow with his disabled owner who wasn’t able to walk him and another Collie who picked on him and didn’t want to play. Back then his name was ‘Nip’ because his unworked collie instincts had him herding people and nipping their ankles- even collecting stones from the garden to put into a pile and then circling them, he just wanted to work!
He was so small and confused but progressed every day, he spent his first Christmas here with us (just him and Benji at the time) and after 3 months of rehabilitation in kennels he went home to the farm. Look at him now, a working sheepdog!!
He was given his lucky break by a farmer who needed a youngster to learn the ropes and one day take over from his beautiful older collie. We couldn’t be more proud of how far he’s come, he’s grown into a very handsome young man with a very bright future.
